On Saturday, March 28, Governor Cuomo announced that due to COVID-19, he is postponing the Presidential Primary and currently rescheduling for June 23. The Presidential Primary was originally going to be held on April 28.
Under the advisement of the Governor and Tioga County Legislature, and as a precaution to protect the health of our staff and the public, the Tioga County Board of Elections will now be operating with reduced staff and reduced office hours until further notice. Staff who are not in the office will have email access and some remote capability from home. We will respond to emails and phone messages as soon as possible.
Temporary office hours will be from 9:00am to 1:00pm Mondays through Thursdays. Election Commissioners will be available by prior appointment only from 1:00-5:00pm Mondays-Thursdays, and 9:00am to 5:00pm on Fridays.
